Re-use

Re-useRe-use of waste materials occupies a high level in the hierarchy of waste management, just behind waste prevention / minimisation. Advantages to local authorities of re-use include the reduction in the quantities of biodegradable municipal waste (BMW) going to landfill and reduction in the cost of municipal waste management, although there are a number of Councils that pay charitable organisations a recycling credit for such re-use. Importantly there is help for socially and economically disadvantaged people to obtain affordable furnishings.
