 | Recovery of energy from waste has been a controversial area within waste management for a number of years, though it seems likely this treatment process will continue to be an important element of integrated waste management for the foreseeable future. Combined heat and power (CHP) systems are receiving much attention and may become the preferable option under the right circumstances. |
